Rudimentary Horn Adenomyosis in A 20-Year-Old Patient With Unicornuate Uterus: A Case Report

Background: A unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn is rare Mullerian anomaly few cases reported in the literature. The symptoms vary depending on functionality of endometrial cavity and presence an obstruction. Adenomyosis disease defined as areas glands stroma present within myometrium. Reports describing adenomyosis relation to anomalies are scarce. Case Report: We 20-year-old middle eastern woman admitted for chronic pelvic pain abdominal distension. Pelvic ultrasound revealed adjacent mass 10 x 8 cm. An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) was performed, left demonstrated. On right side, large non-communicating features suggesting diffuse found. Laparoscopic removal performed successfully, extraction specimen made by power morcellation containment system. patient discharged uneventfully second day after surgery, pathology result confirmed adenomyosis.
